Homemade Soap makes a wonderful bridal shower or wedding favor!  I have available immediately 18 rustic soap favors for $27.00:homemade soap favors by heirloom soapworksThese are made with  olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, shea butter, mango butter, avocado butter, oatmeal, poppy seeds, french pink clay and a yummy chocolate espresso fragrance.

Each favor is approx. 1″ x 2″ x .25″.  The price includes wrapping in eyelet/lace & tied with black ribbon, or a hang tag (with names/date etc.) on kraft paper tied with black ribbon.

These would also be great as guest soaps for a bed & breakfast, summer house, beach condo, etc.  These are ready to go right away, but I can make similar soap favors in your choice of colors/scents.

Silicone Loaf Molds for Homemade Soap

I finally splurged on some proper soap molds -silicone ones!  I have been ogling  these for quite a while.  After experiencing the ease of my soap cupcakes’ un-molding from their silicone molds, well, I just HAD to have ‘em.

Happy Valentine’s Day to me! :)   (I’m beginning to see a pattern here -last year it was a soap cutter, this year molds…who knows what soap-making delight will be mine in 2013!)

 

 

I can’t wait to see how these work -I’ve seen similar molds (in green) on other sites, but these seem a bit more “slick” surface-wise.  I can’t tell you how wonderful it was for me to not have to line molds today -for some reason that’s always been very stressful for me.  Cross your fingers everyone -if these work well I may have officially lined my last mold! Now that’s a happy thought!  :)   ~Becky

“Sherbet” Natural Hand & Body Soap

You know how great it is when something turns out EXACTLY the way you wanted it to?  Well, that’s happened to me TWICE THREE TIMES so far this week!  YAY!

Boy I’m really excited about this new hand soap!  (Really, Becky?  We wouldn’t have guessed!)

I designed it as a 100% Natural Chef’s Soap, but it would also make a great Gardener’s Soap, Mechanic’s Soap,  -even a great Body Soap, it’s sure moisturizing enough!

It starts with a layer of Rosmary Soap that’s colored with French Green Clay, next comes a layer of Sweet Orange Poppyseed w/Moroccan Red (rhoussal)Clay -topped off with a layer of invigorating Lemongrass Soap.  This soap is superfatted with a 3-Butter Blend of Unrefined Shea, Mango & Cocoa to provide the extra conditioning needed for frequent washings.
